I just read about the state of Santa Catarina to get an idea. I speak Italian, not totally fluently, but I get by, so I may be able to speak in your state since I see there are many immigrants from Italy? But maybe they came a long time ago. Your sunset is enchanting.

What I said is that there were italian immigrants in the past that had a lot of influence in the south of Brazil, but you may find few people who understands italian. Anyway, language is not an issue here ... if you speak italian mixed with sspanish and the little portuguese you know, you might get to comunicate...
