I live in Floripa ... Eu moro em Floripa!!

Welcome friends and curious!
I´m a gaucha (woman born in Rio Grande do Sul, brazilian state) that, during a vacation trip, has been bewitched by this place and, a few years later, had her promise come true: to live in Floripa!
I´d wanna remark, though, that I´m very proud of my native land (and my Internacional - soccer team) and I miss so much my big family that lives there. But ... here is my place!! It´s all about me... I´ve been able of bringing my husband (that came as my boyfriend, turned as my fiancé and then my husband, here!) and my dear mother-in-law. My sister come a lot here to work. I want more people to come!!
It´s been 4 years here, and my hapiness is so big that I need to share. An island with beaches (42) to any taste ... island of tales of wiches and other creatures ... island of the Tainha party (tipical fish), of Siri´s soup (sort of a crab), of berbigão (sort of sea fruit) ... island that goes with it´s very rithym (which is great, with no stress...), but also atracts and gathers culture from every corner of this world.

Bem-vindos amigos e curiosos!

Sou uma gaúcha que numa viagem de férias foi enfeitiçada por este lugar e que, alguns anos mais tarde, teve a sua promessa realizada: morar em Floripa!

Quero enfatizar porém que tenho muito orgulho da minha terra Natal (e do meu Colorado querido) e que tenho muitas saudades da minha grande família, que mora lá. Mas ... aqui é o meu lugar!! Tenho tudo a ver com isto aqui... Já consegui arrastar o meu marido pra cá (que veio como namorado, virou noivo e depois marido, aqui!!) e a minha sogra querida. Minha irmã também vem bastante à trabalho. Quero que mais gente venha!!

Já são 4 anos aqui, e a minha felicidade aqui é tão grande que eu preciso compartilhar. Uma ilha com praias (42) para todos os gostos ... ilha de lendas de bruxas e boi-de-mamão... ilha da festa da tainha, da sopa de siri, do berbigão ... ilha que caminha no seu próprio ritmo manezinho de ser (que eu acho ótimo por sinal, sem estresse...), mas que também atrai e une culturas de vários cantos deste mundo.
