The church Our Lady of Conception, in Lagoon of Cenceição, was built in 1780, in portuguese architecture. In 1999 it was elevated to Sanctuary. It is located in a hill over the lagoon.
A igreja Nossa Senhora da Conceição, na Lagoa da Conceição em Florianópolis, foi construída em 1780, com arquitetura colonial portuguesa. Em 1999 foi elevada a santuário. Está localizada num morro sobre a lagoa.

ResponderExcluirHow interesting to me that Portugal built so many churches centuries ago or inspired other countries to build churches and now only 20% of their people go to church (even though more than 80% says they are Catholic.) It is also interesting that Portugal is going to pass a low for equality of marriage (which means also same sex) when the USA which always says all people are equal does not have equality in marriage. Time does change things.
